ASHI was established in 1976. It is the oldest and most respected national pr
ofessional organization of home inspectors in North America. We are a not-for-profit organization and its membership
consists of nearly 6,000 individual home inspectors, representing solely owned, franchised, and multi-home inspector companies. Our goals have always been to build customer awareness of the importance of a quality home inspection and enhance the professionalism of home inspectors

Mike Stephans, ACI recently saw the The Bellman Group presentation on new construction inspections and thought it was excellent. It covered many of the systems and components in the blogs but also gave unique insights into the differences of an inspectors approach "new vs existing" and how to deal with buyer's expectations.
