March 9th:

Associates Corner: "Financial Considerations of Operating a Successful Home Inspection Business" presented by our own Steve Duchene, ACI from the ASHI School and Home Examiner
Main Presentation: Crawlspace Encapsulation and Foundation Support Sytstems presented by Perma-Seal, Roy Spencer and Jim Montabalbano

May 11th:
Associates Corner:  NICASHI Member Ed Wengren of Home Touch Inspection Services will be presenting: Structural Inspections.  Ed will provide handouts from Western Wood Products for review specifications on where structure framing can be cut, drilled etc... and review basics of how to read construction blue print, and what structural concerns to look for while inspecting homes.
Main Presentation: Presented by David Streich of Chicago Tank Removal, Inc.  "Heating Oil Tanks" This inspection will include what to look for and new found knowledge about heating oil tanks in the Chicago area and what suburbs are most likely to have heating oil tanks.

June 8th:
Associates Corner:  Health & Income Replacement Insurance. John Davey will discuss areas of health and income replacement options that should be considered by the self-employed and small business owners. John Davey, Licensed Insurance Agent and 14 year veteran with Health Markets Insurance Agency, Affiliated with Insphere Insurance Solutions, Inc.
Main Presentation: Uncontrolled Airflow in the Home. Joe Konopacki, ACI, will discuss uncontrolled air movement through any building's interior envelope can carry with it moisture that can cause condensation damage to the structure.   Uncontrolled airflow can also have a negative effect on home comfort and efficiency, and lead to indoor air quality concerns.

July 13th:
Associates Corner: Shelly Perry, Representing LiftMaster Garage Door Operators will be presenting: "Complete Garage Door and Operator Inspection Processes".
Main Presentation: Richard Hernandez of EFM-Integrating Applications and Planning, Partnered with Healthy Home Checkup will be presenting "Healthy Home Check Up".  An innovative new app that identifies health and safety issues in the home.

August 10th:

Saturday all day event (no monthly meeting on Wednesday September 14th)
7:30am to 4pm:  2 sessions, each for 3 hours of State (Mandatory) CE's. see more
